OUR SERVICES

For Cross-Sectors Innovation

No single actor or sector will be capable of shifting complex challenges without working in partnership with others. How do we build partnerships that are high on impact and low on transaction costs?

Transformational Alliances

Since its founding, PI has brought together leaders from across sectors to build transformational alliances. Using the methods and tools of Theory U, PI supports cross-sector groups to:

  • Understand complexity and identifying leverage points for change
  • Build and sustain collaborative partnerships
  • Activate cross- sector capabilities for innovation and action

PI has worked with a range of cross-sector partnerships, ranging from government led initiatives in Cambodia and Indonesia, to grassroots movements such as Ubuntu.Lab in Africa, to work on sustainable fisheries in the Galapagos Islands.

If you would like to explore how PI can help create or support a cross-sector initiative, please reach out.

“Most cross-institutional change processes fail because they miss the starting point: co-sensing across boundaries. We need infrastructures to facilitate this process on a sustained level across systems. And because they don’t yet exist, organized interest groups go out and maximize their special interests against the whole, instead of engaging practitioners in the larger system in a process of sensing and innovating together.”

Learning from the Future as It Emerges“
